grey.studio is an ongoing design and research collaborative founded by Robert Shepherd in 2004.
greystudios's principal collaborators include architects, graphic artists and designers,
and takes advantage of the best qualities of a small-practice such as hands on service
and direct interaction with the principals; while leveraging the experience and design
skill of seasoned professionals.grey.studio' s projects include products, exhibits,
interiors and buildings, all of which share and interest in applied technologies
applied to the fields of architecture and urban design.
Robert Shepherd is a Bay Area native who received his degree in Architecture [BArch]
from California College of the Arts in 1992. In addition to grey.studio Robert is active in
teaching, research and lecturing at both The University of California at Berkeley and
at California College of the Arts.
