Complexity paradigm Grid
Active liberty = Equality = Balance
(Typological autonomy formation urban scape)
mediation between typical organisational paradisms and local conditions
2.Sensitive systems: development of a prototype
3.Network Urbanism:global behavior
There are far more cases where distributive systems in which far more rights and responsibilities are given to individuals go smoothly than hierarchical systems where all power is concentrated in the central goverment Desirable social system are not those that are forcibly imposed in a top down manner, but those that are voluntanrily united in a bottom up manner. If this is applied to cases of state administration, any political leaders should focus on creeting conditions where various members of sociedty can exert their maximum capabilities, rather than leading the country by merely relying on their personal ablility. In the complexity paradigm this is called facilitation.
Rapidity of development involves such opportunity, forcing the development in parallel of consistent, malleable and robust geometric instruments, capable to describe making balance conditions through an organization that holds them together and intergrates them.
This form is chosen in order to enclosed space with units. The result is a city where the grid is built structure rather than the building.
This constitutes a purposive internal fragmentation of the master plan into three autonomous forms. Each of these can be debeloped independently from any other ones.
I try to develop an identity between the three by landscaping the plan mass into a land of walls. ( nature, culture public, private and program)
The continuous inversion of the relationships between open space and built space contitutes the genetic code of the urban and allows for the organisation of complex program.
I wanted to suggest a new type of housing complex. The main one prototypes of the transform in to a half, 2/3, 4/3 form and these could compound variously in accordance with the density of the the city and the size of the site. Each Prototypes possesses particular community spaces under the housing parts and these could create a net work.
The skyline concep t: The balance between progrrams, floor area ratios, setbacks and height define an urban compound.
I am also critical of the idea of the 'solution' because this fails to acknowledge the constantly mobile dymanics of any territorial configuration whose conditions can only, at best, be stablised for a certain period.
In terms of the points I focus upon first, I am concerned initially with processes such as mapping and indexing a whole range of topographic, geological, infrastructural, atmospheric, architectural, economic and social phenomena and thir interrlationships.
This should serve to identify the conditions I might want to address for understanding the impact of any intervention within these.
This work will develop a logic directly related to the existing political and economic framework.
I could call this the 'resiliency' of the plan.(changes in economic, politecs and programs)
