Urban Renewal : Bridging Between New Development and Historic Nieghborhoods

The 37th Railroad Museum will become an Anchor, connector and an educational backdrop of the residential district and the Northwest side of RiNo renewal project located on the West side of Union Pacific rail line along 37th Street in Denver, CO. The Museum will act as a bridge allowing for direct connection of the East and West rail corridors along 37th Street. The museum will act as a collection space permitting for storage of Union Pacific and related rail artifacts as well as creation of an educational realm environment giving a possibility to teach the local community and its visitors about the history and birth of this particular neighborhood and how the neighborhood was effected by the existence of the rail line since the 1870s to present time.
